According to a leaked image over on Wireless Goodness the image below, a filing shot from the US FCC could very well be the testing platform for Nintendo's newest handheld, the Nintendo 3DS.
The image shows shows what could be a development kit, or just its motherboard for the new handheld. You can clearly see the dual screens which is unique to the Nintendo DS and Nintendo have confirmed the new handheld will again come with dual screens once again.

One important observation is the different screen sizes, the top, which looks to be Sharp's auto-stereoscopic 3D screen, is a widescreen, yet the one below is the standard 4:3 found on the other Nintendo DS handhelds.
There's no confirmation that what we see is actually the 3DS testing platform, but given that Nintendo intend to make there announcement and reveal at E3 this year, it isn't surprising that what we're seeing could very well be the genuine thing.
The handheld is supposed to be releasing sometime this October, and the 3DS name hasn't been confirmed by Nintendo, all we're told is that we'll find out at E3.
