Sony have formally announced Ape Escape for PlayStation 3 today, along with the game's release date of June. It'll feature support for PlayStation Move, mini-games, monkeys and more monkeys.
Featuring three new mini-games and 500 different monkeys to catch, Ape Escape is being developed by Studio Japan on the PlayStation 3.
Players have to catch monkeys in "15 stages of monkey mayhem as you track down the evil primate leader, Specter."
Unlike previous Ape Escape games, the PlayStation Move supported Ape Escape will be an on-rails shooter rather than the traditional platformer.
Ape Escape previously released in Japan on December 9, 2010. It releases elsewhere this June.
