Satoru Iwata took to the stage during GDC today to announce a new Mario game exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. Simply titled Mario, the logo shown included a Racoon's tail which Iwata said would be explained during E3 in June.
Not much was revealed regarding the new Mario, the Racoon's tail was only suggested as being an ability for Mario to jump in 3D, however, Satoru Iwata explained that the full details on the 3DS Mario game would be revealed at E3 in June.
Other announces during the keynote unveiled support for Netflix on the 3DS, allowing content streaming to the device in the US.
The Nintendo president mainly spoke about Nintendo's past, and the way they are looking to the future in terms of software development.
