It hasn't been long since Dead Space 2 arrived from deep space into the hands many anticipated gamers. If you have completed the game already then this may be for you, since Dead Space 2: Severed includes an additional two chapters.
EA announced today that Dead Space 2: Severed would be released on March 1 on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store.
The new download content extends the game's story with two additional chapters to play through, telling the story from Gabe Weller.
"As a security officer, Weller comes equipped with a one-of-a-kind security suit and an upgraded, more powerful Pulse Rifle that will help him unleash his own blood-curdling adventure across the Sprawl. Lurking behind every corner is another bloodthirsty monster but the big surprise for Weller (and fans) is the return of the Twitcher, a grotesque enemy who first appeared in the original Dead Space game."
New content packs are also releasing today which include new weapons and new suits - check them out below.
