THQ announces uDraw UK release date

thq_announces_udraw_uk_release_dateSet to be one of the Wii's next biggest peripheral's, THQ's uDraw drawing tablet has been set for release on March 4 alongside two games, Pictionary and Dood's Big Adventure. uDraw Studio will be bundled with the peripheral.

 

The uDraw GameTablet is a new hardware device that provides a new way to play on Wii. It's a small white handheld graphics tablet with a 4" x 6" drawing space and detachable, pressure-sensitive stylus "designed to offer more subtle control and precision than available on the traditional Wii Remote."

The GameTablet allows the Wii Remote to plug into it, taking power directly from the controller and also has tilt-and-roll movement options and SD-card support for saving and transferring your creations.

THQ has yet to set the peripheral's price point, however, the US has it at $70 and a number of retailers in the UK are charging between £50 - £55.

uDraw was announced back in August last year and releases in the UK on March 4.
