Classic MDK fans rejoice! For MDK 2 on WiiWare is growing ever closer to its release says IdeaSpark's Trent Oster. Posting on the BeamDog forums, he announced that the game had entered "the final stages of the certification process".
Trent Oster wrote, "MDK2 for WiiWare has entered the final stages of the certification process. We're anxiously awaiting approval from Nintendo so the game can go on sale."
"The Wiimote adds a great deal to the gameplay, making a great action platformer even better."
The forum post went on further with news on the long awaited HD remake. Cameron Tofer, the producer of the game's original release, said they were "also looking for feedback and suggestions on HD so fire away."
Both Oster and ex-BioWare member, Tofer, founded IdeaSpark and recently launched their digital distribution service, BeamDog, which will host the HD remake upon release.
No dates on exactly when the WiiWare MDK 2 release will happen or the PC HD remake.
