Publisher and game developer giant, Electronic Arts, have revealed that the much anticipated Battlefield sequel, Battlefield 3, will be revealed at this year's Game Developers Conference on Tuesday, March 1, 2011.
The Game Developers Conference is an annual show where professional developers from around the world gather to discuss the inner workings of video games, their systems, their inspirations and much more.
Battlefield 3 will be part of the EA Partners press event which will also include:
- Shadows of the Damned (Grasshopper Manufacture)
- Alice: Madness Returns (Spicy Horse)
- Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning (38 Studios)
- Crysis 2 (Crytek)
- Battlefield Play4Free (Easy Studios)
News on Battlefield 3 is still pretty much under wraps, however, those who purchased Medal of Honor were given invitations to the Battlefield 3 beta.
Still with out an exact release date, EA CEO, John Riccitiello, has confirmed that Battlefield 3 will release within the final six months of 2011.
