It's the end of Nintendo World 2011's first day in Tokyo today, where Nintendo have released details on the new 3DS specifications and contents, as well as the Japanese launch line-up, the prices and a whole load more.
Upon launch of the Nintendo 3DS there will be ten games available to purchase, varying in price from ¥4,800 to ¥6,090, some may even go as high as ¥6,800 depending on the game. The line-up and prices are below, though two games are missing from Nintendo's confirmed number of games, two games that will most likely be revealed tomorrow.
- Nintendogs + Cats (¥4,800)
- Winning Eleven Soccer 3D (¥5,800)
- Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition (¥4,800)
- Samurai Warriors Chronicle (¥6,090)
- Puzzle Bobble 3D (¥4,980)
- Ridge Racer 3D (¥6,090)
- Battle of the Giants: Dinosaurs 3D (¥5,040)
- Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracles (¥5,980)
Other games due after release include Steel Diver, Pilotwings Resort and the 3DS version of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, all of which are scheduled for a Spring release. Star Fox 64 3D and Kid Icarus: Uprising are scheduled for Summer.
The new Mario Kart 3DS, Animal Crossing 3DS and Paper Mario 3DS are yet to be given a launch window, however, don't be too surprised to find some, or all, before the end of 2011.
Along with the launch line-up, Nintendo have released the full specifications on its official Japanese website, confirming the expected battery life.
The official battery life is 3.5 hours, though it can last anywhere between three and five depending on what you're playing and the screen's brightness. Playing 3DS games will reduce the battery life, as will turning the backlight up high, however, playing DS games on the system will increase the battery to between five and eight hours. Battery charging will take roughly three-and-a-half-hours.

It rounds off a day of 3DS madness at Nintendo World 2011, where Nintendo, to no surprise, have been really pushing out the 3DS announcements, news and information. The Japanese event also showed off the new TV Ads to be played in Japan for the 3DS, as well as letting attendees getting some hands-on with the system.
