The last in 2010's big gaming events, the Video Game Awards, is fully underway and Todd Howard from Bethesda has just announced the much rumored, and long awaited, Elder Scrolls sequel, formally known as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
In development for the past two years and a closely guarded secret, Skyrim will be a direct sequel to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
No further details were given other than the game's November 2011 release date, but, you can pretty much expect it to release across the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The first ever trailer was shown at the VGA's, which we'll have up once it releases.
