SNK bringing NeoGeo Station to PSN later this month

snk_bringing_neogeo_station_to_psn_later_this_monthSNK Playmore has today announced it is to bring the NeoGeo Station on to the PlayStation Network later this month. The new service will offer a "continuously growing library" of NeoGeo games in celebration of NeoGeo's 20th anniversary.

 

Games will be made available on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable upon release, each costing $8.99 on PS3 and $6.99 on PSP. Each PS3 game will contain online Versus and Co-op modes, while the PSP will use Ad-Hoc to play multiplayer.

The first 10 titles to be made available when the service launches on December 21 are:

  • Alpha Mission II
  • Art of Fighting
  • Baseball Stars Professional
  • Fatal Fury (PSP)
  • League Bowling
  • Magician Lord
  • Metal Slug (PSP)
  • Samurai Shodown
  • Super Sidekicks
  • The King of Fighters ‘94

SNK say that only Metal Slug and Fatal Fury will be made available on the PSP at first, with the other eight being made available sometime in January.

NeoGeo Station launches on the PlayStation Network on December 21.
