THQ has confirmed the global release dates for Homefront, a new title by Kaos Studios that is set in the year 2027 and based around American resistance groups under Asian occupation. It's releasing on 360 and PS3 in March 2011.
The announcement came through THQ's official Twitter page, tweeting that Homefront would release on March 8, 2011, in the US and March 11, 2011, in the UK and Europe.
Homefront's story is written by none other than John Milius, the man who co-wrote both Apocalypse Now and Red Dawn, two fantastic movies. In the year 2027, a nuclear-armed Korean People's Army invades the USA and you play in the resistance.
THQ previously announced a tie-in novel for the game, it has yet to be given a date.
Expect more on Homefront as its release date draws closer.
