EA has today unveiled the next game in the Need for Speed franchise, Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed, for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It's in development by the same team as its predecessor and is scheduled for Spring 2011.
The sequel to EA's race-realistic Need for Speed Shift was announced back in August, however, no details, or a name, were mentioned.
Sporting a new engine, Need for Speed Shift 2: Unleashed will include a new helmet camera view and the new Autolog feature currently found in the just-released Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.
It's due out in the Spring of 2011, for now, wet your appetites on the announcement trailer below.
