Team17 has announced the release date of the final part in the new Alien Breed series, Alien Breed 3: Descent. It launches this November and sees Theodore Conrad fight the alien species which has invaded the Leopold.
Throughout 2010, the Alien Breed series delivered tense moments, frenetic firefights and co-op carnage to gamers across the world. The opening title, Alien Breed: Impact/Evolution introduced players to the plight of Theodore Conrad, chief engineer aboard the doomed ship Leopold, struggling to regain control of his ship after a collision with a mysterious foreign vessel.
Alien Breed 2: Assault saw Conrad fighting back, boarding the newly conjoined ship and delivering doses of old-fashioned revenge on its inhabitants. Now, with Alien Breed 3: Descent gamers can fight to the conclusion of the Alien Breed trilogy.
The PC and Xbox 360 versions launch on November 17, the PlayStation 3 version has yet to be given a release date.
Pricing will be 800 MSP on Xbox Live and £6.99/$9.99 on PC/Steam.
