Top publishers supporting new Games for Windows Live

top_publishers_supporting_new_games_for_windows_liveMicrosoft has announced that several top publishers will be supporting the upcoming reboot of Games for Windows Live. Capcom, and Square Enix are two who intend to deliver some of their best franchises to the Marketplace.

 

"We plan to deliver some of our biggest and best PC franchises on Games for Windows Marketplace from day one," said Capcom VP, Christian Svensson.

"Digital distribution continues to drive growth in PC gaming, and we're excited to partner with Microsoft and bring amazing games to this growing marketplace."

Capcom will be bringing both Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 on to the new Marketplace, with Rockstar bringing Max Payne and Grand Theft Auto III and Square Enix bringing Deus Ex: Game of the Year edition. 2K Games will also be fielding some of their own games, though which ones have yet to be announced.

100 titles are set to launch alonside the reboot, with GTA III and Fable: The Lost Chapters available on release day, November 15.
