SEGA has confirmed that the classic Crazy Taxi will re-release on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network this November. The re-release includes updated 720p graphics and leaderboards. Full details and pricing inside.
Crazy Taxi was first released in arcades back in 1999. Developed by Hitmaker and published by SEGA, the taxi racer became quite a success, with a subsequent port to the Dreamcast in 2000 and then the PlayStation 2, GameCube and PC in 2001 and 2002.
The new re-release includes updated 720p HD graphics, with a new widescreen aspect ratio of 16:9 and leaderboards.
You'll be able to start collecting fare's when it releases this November on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. North America will get it first on November 23, while Europeans will get it the day after, on November 24.
Pricing will be 800 Microsoft Points which equates to $9.99/£6.29/€7.99 on the PlayStation Store.
