Sony Online Entertainment's upcoming DC Universe Online, the comic book turned MMORPG, has been officially delayed until early next year. It was originally meant to release next month, and no reason has been given for the delay.
John Smedley, Sony Online Entertainment's president, said that the extra time would "allow us to address community feedback in a meaningful way."
"When we get deeper into external beta, we'll be able to share more information regarding the new launch date."
It was originally set to release on November 2 in the US.
The company have announced, for North America only, that anyone who pre-orders the game or does so before November 15 will have access to the beta at the end of next month. For those that pre-order after the closing date they will gain access a week before the launch.
You don't have to pre-order though, if you sign up here before midnight tonight you can still be in with a chance.
