Activision has finally announced the release date for the latest World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm. You'll be able to purchase in stores or online via the Blizzard store with a Collector's Edition also available.
Following on from Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm sees the level cap being increased to 85 along with two new races, the goblins and worgen, along with new areas, dungeons and more.
"Cataclysm includes the best content we've ever created for World of Warcraft. It's not just an expansion, but a re-creation of much of the original Azeroth, complete with epic new high-level adventures for current players and a redesigned leveling experience for those just starting out," said Blizzard boss Mike Morhaime.
"With the help of our beta testers, we're putting on the final polish, and we look forward to welcoming gamers around the world to enjoy it in just a couple of months."
December 7 is the day when World of Warcraft fans around the world will be able to get their hands on the much anticipated expansion, it will be available in shops along with a Collector's Edition and online through the Blizzard store.
