Nintendo announced the rumored Wii Remote Plus today at their Tokyo press conference today, saying it would be released for "convenience of the users", integrating two key components in to one.
The statement, found over on Nintendo's website, reads, "for the convenience of the users, Nintendo is developing Wii Remote Plus, which integrates Wii Remote and Wii MotionPlus.
No release date was given for the new controller, only that more details would be released through websites and other media at a later date.
The four colour's will be released in Japan, but no confirmation on whether they would release in other regions, or what price they would be.
