With Nintendo announcing the release date for the 3DS earlier today, Capcom jumped on the bandwagon and announced a new Resident Evil game which is currently in development for the handheld.
Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D which was announced at the press conference is set in the Resident Evil universe and "will deliver relentless action with players competing against the clock to defeat as many enemies as possible in a fixed time."
It features the Mercenary missions from both Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, along with new modes and extra characters. You'll also be able to play through Wi-Fi with a friend.
Resident Evil: Revelations which was first unveiled at E3 earlier this year was also shown along with the release of some new shots which you can see below.
