Everyone's blue spikey hedgehog is making his debut return in Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 starting next month across Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network and Nintendo's WiiWare channel.
SEGA previously delayed the new game last Spring to allow more time for development.
It releases starting from October 11 on Nintendo's WiiWare channel (October 15 in EMEA territories), the next day, October 12, will see it release on the PlayStation Network (October 13 in EMEA territories), finally it'll release on the Xbox Live Arcade on October 13.
Pricing for the title will be 1500 Wii Points on the WiiWare channel, $14.99/£9.99/€12.99 on the PlayStation Network and 1200 MSP on Xbox Live Arcade.
How many episodes Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will entail is yet to be revealed by SEGA.
