Square Enix has announced today that Dissidia 012 [duodecim]: Final Fantasy, the RPG/Beat-em-up, will be released across North America and Europe next year, exclusively for the PlayStation Portable.
Following on from 2008's Dissidia: Final Fantasy, Dissidia 012 [duodecim] (duodecim being latin for 12th, which follows the battle between Cosmos and Chaos) includes an expanded roster of characters to ally with, and new features which you can find below.
Features:
- Combining all-out brawling alongside RPG-style character development and customisation, the creators of the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts series take fighting gameplay to another level.
- New Assist Mode – Choose your own 'Assist' character to give you back-up in battle
- Battle with exciting new characters including Kain (Final Fantasy IV) and Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII)
- New Chaos storyline and story missions to battle through.
Square Enix have said that more details and "surprises" will be revealed over the coming months, hopefully a release date too.
It releases on PSP in North America and Europe sometime next year.
