Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light was always intended to have online cooperative play, unfortunately however, Crystal Dynamics have had to delay the option on both PC and the PlayStation 3.
Online co-op was due for release across the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 when the PC and PS3 versions release later this month, but Crystal Dynamics have said that while the Xbox 360 online co-op will still appear, the PC and PS3 patch will come "at a later date".
Local co-op is available as standard in the title, and will still be available.
Crystal Dynamics also confirmed five upcoming download content packs they will release across all three formats. The first three packs will include a variety of new puzzles, new areas to explore and new combat experiences to engage in. The further two packs will be additional characters packs, allowing you to play without Lara or Totec, instead you'll be able to use other well-known video game characters, who these characters will be is yet to be revealed.
The game is already out on Xbox Live, check out our review here, the Steam and PS3 version will release on September 28.
