Phantasy Star Online fans can rejoince at SEGA's news on the series during the Tokyo Game Show today, Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming, though it's only confirmed for a PC release sometime next year.
SEGA haven't commented on whether the new online game would be exclusive to the PC. The first game released on SEGA's Dreamcast back in the year 2000 and was later ported over to the PC in Asia.
So it could very well appear on the Xbox 360 and, or, PlayStation 3.
The announcement came via a live video stream on SEGA's part.
What the company did confirm was that it would be releasing next year, at least in Japan.
