From Software, the developers behind the brutally hard Demon's Souls, have announced a brand new title, known as Project Dark. The new game is aimed at fans of Demon's Souls.
The dark fantasy title isn't being touted as a sequel to Demon's Souls however, but a successor that will appeal to fans of the first game. Regardless, it's probably going to be tough, but how tough is the question.
It'll be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 in Japan, but NAMCO BANDAI will be heading up the release on PS3 and the 360 over in the west when it releases next year.
From Software didn't say why they chose to go with a new title and not a sequel to the successful Demon's Souls, a game which even Sony said they regretted not publishing worldwide. One thing is for sure, even though it doesn't carry the name, it certainly carries the legacy and will be very similar.
