Rising Star Games, European publisher for a wealth of Japanese games, has announced the release date for Nintendo DS title, Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon as October 8.
Already released in the US, Rune Factory 2 takes elements from the popular Harvest Moon games and creates compelling stories on the Nintendo DS. Gamers can start a family with a choice of the female villagers they encounter, with over 12 potential wives to pick from. You'll be able to play through two generations within the game, firstly as the father and then the son or daughter.
Four new dungeons will be included to fight through and grow your crops in, plus new monsters which players can tame and use to help farm the dungeons with.
"Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon picks up where the last game finished," says Martin Defries, managing director, Rising Star Games.
"It's full of farming, fighting and families - the winning Rune Factory combination that will have fans clamouring to get their hands on this."
Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon will be released on October 8 on Nintendo DS throughout Europe.
