Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood has been delayed until next year on PC, Ubisoft has announced today. The company also confirmed the launch date for the PS3 beta in Europe which starts in October.
With the PC edition being pushed in to 2011, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions are still scheduled for release on November 16 in North America and November 18 in Europe.
Ubisoft confirmed the delay today along with some brighter news for PS3 players, the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer beta will start on October 4, the North American beta starts next week on September 13.
It isn't the first Assassin's Creed to be delayed on PC, both the original and the sequel released a few months after their console counterparts.
Ubisoft didn't give a reason for the delay, or a new release date, only that it would be out next year.
