Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced the formal release date for the highly anticipated PlayStation 3 shooter, Killzone 3. The PlayStation 3 exclusive which features jet packs is due in February 2011.
The announcement came via the official US PlayStation Blog by Sony product marketing manager TJ Consunji.
The shooter was first announced back at E3 and then later given a release date of February along with support for PlayStation Move at GamesCom, however, only now has the date been confirmed as February 22 for the US.
No word on an exact European release date yet, but, expect it around the same time.
