Activision racer Blood Drive rated by BBFC

activision_racer_blood_drive_rated_by_bbfcThe British Board of Film Classification, the UK's rating board, has rated a new racing game by Activision, titled Blood Drive. The "Motorized Vehicles on Steroids" racer is due later this year.

Blood Drive, which is yet to be announced by Activision, is a combat racing game involving "motorized vehicles on steroids", zombies and guns. Sounds like the perfect game.

The features below come from the listing on Amazon where it's available to pre-order, along with a release date of October.

  • Motorized Vehicles on Steroids? THE CARS ARE THE STARS! Battle-hardened & itching to be modded with killer weaponry and armor pick-ups.
  • Zombies with Attitude: Diverse and interesting zombies lifted from the streets of faux Vegas, each replete with unique attitudes and innovative ways to kill them.
  • Rewarding motorized combat with enemy vehicles, including souped-up muscle cars, hot rods, wreckers, and more.
  • Tournament Structured Gameplay: Enter the most gruesome and violent tournament on earth. Battle through 10 plus events and different levels in the ultimate fight for your life.
  • Multiplayer Bloodbath: With Online and LIVE play, the game is a target-rich environment with drop-in, drop-out playability.

Now that the rating is through, at least in the UK, Activision may send out further details on the racer which is coming to both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this October, at least if the Amazon listing is anything to go by, which we doubt.
