Majesco Entertainment, developers behind monster mashing Serious Sam, have announced the release date for Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter as September 22 on Xbox Live.
The Second Encounter includes three new weapons -- the Sniper Rifle, Chainsaw and Flamethrower. Co-op support for up to four players is also included as well as competitive modes set across 12 different maps.
The sequel continues the story of where The First Encounter left off, not that Serious Sam needs much of a story with its mindless mass monster killings, but no one likes a cliff hanger.
Price is expected to be around 1200MSP when it releases this September 22 on Xbox Live.
