N.O.V.A. - Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, Gameloft's first-person shooter for smartphones, is coming to the PlayStation Network and will be playable on the PSP and maybe even the PS3.
Gameloft announced the PSP title over on its Facebook page as part of the publishers plan to get every game it releases on all major platforms.
Here's the backstory:
Join the fight for mankind's survival against the aggressive aliens known as Judgers in this revolutionary sci-fi FPS. With Earth no longer able to sustain life, huge artificial satellites called "near-orbitals" were constructed for people to live on. To protect themselves, the near-orbitals banded together to form N.O.V.A., the Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance. Against his will, retired marine hero Kal Wardin is forcefully returned to active duty to prevent mankind's annihilation.
The title does include multiplayer via online and local wireless on smartphones, however, if the game releases as one of the PlayStation Network's Minis, then multiplayer will not be included.
