danceevolution_announced_for_xbox_360_kinectFirst announced back at E3 under the name of Dance Masters, DanceEvolution is Konami's Xbox 360 Kinect dancing game. Featuring 30 tracks across a variety of music styles, players will dance over four different difficulties.

Using Kinect with DanceEvolution allows players to watch their moves on screen in real time, using the on screen markers to position their bodies in time with the music. A Lesson Mode is also included to help players ease in to the game.

The Dance Mode which is the main part of the game has four levels of difficulty depending on your skill, and your ability to move. The four levels are Light, Standard, Extreme and Stealth.

Players can challenge up to four friends from around the world to a variety of music which ranges from club classics, Hip Hop, R&B, Techno and Pop. There will be 30 tracks in total upon launch and Konami have said that additional content will be released in the form of new music, dance sequences, theme packs and more.

"As an expert in the rhythm-based genre with games such as the highly-successful DanceDanceRevolution franchise, it was a natural fit for Konami to utilize the new capabilities of Kinect and create the next generation of dancing video games," said Martin Schneider, European Marketing and PR Director for Konami Digital Entertainment.

"DanceEvolution is truly an interactive, full body dance game, providing gamers a heart-pumping experience."

DanceEvolution, still a working title by name, is scheduled for release this November.
