Electronic Arts have confirmed the release date for Dragon Age II during their GamesCom press conference today. The title is due out on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March 2011.
Dragon Age II's story spans ten years and revolves around a man named Hawke, the main protagonist, "a penniless refugee who rises to power to become the single most important character in the world of Dragon Age."
BioWare also said that "the way you play will write the story of how the world is changed forever."
The sequel to the highly successful Dragon Age: Origins will be released in the US on March 8, UK residents will have to wait a few days more for its release on March 11.
