Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Kinect compatible

harry_potter_and_the_deathly_hallows_kinect_compatibleElectronic Arts has just shown off Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows during their GamesCom press conference. The Weasley brothers were on stage to demo the game using Microsoft's new motion device, Kinect.

James and Oliver Phelps were demonstrating the game with Kinect, using hand movements to cast offensive and defensive spells against a variety of mad magicians. It looked to be an on-rails shooter, wizard style, where your hands control the action.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows turns to the darker side of the series. Part I takes place outside of Hogwarts as Mr Potter and gang try to stop Voldemort by destroying the Horcruxes and preventing him from becoming immortal.

It's due out this November to tie-in with the movie release which comes out on November 19.
