THQ Digital has today announced Red Faction: Battlegrounds for Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. It's a prequel set before the events in upcoming Red Faction: Armageddon and includes co-op.
It was reported back in June that Red Faction: Armageddon would be getting a prequel, however, THQ have only just announced its name and the first details and trailer.
The title is played isometrically and is a vehicular combat game. Juiced are behind the title which is due before Red Faction: Armageddon, it'll also have four player co-op all on the same screen.
