Crytek has announced the release date for Crysis 2 today via its Twitter account, it's due in March 2011 and will be available on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It comes after EA delayed the title into Q4 FY2011.
US gamers will be able to get their hands on it first when it hits retail on March 22, European gamers will get it on March 25.
Crytek announced the new release date through a tweet on the game's Twitter page.
The release date comes after Electronic Arts delayed the title last week in its financial report much to everyone's disappointment.
Crysis 2 is due to be shown at this year's GamesCom which is next week, Electronic Arts will be streaming their press conference live. Full details here.
