Professor Layton and the Lost Future has been given its UK release date Nintendo have confirmed today. It's the third in the Professor Layton series, known in the US as The Unwound Future.
The new Professor Layton title sees the Professor receiving a strange letter from 10 years in the future of a catastrophic event in London.
Both the Professor and Luke set out to solve no less than 165 puzzles as they try to unravel the mysterious letter and save London.
New features in the third game include a storybook which can be completed with special stickers you are awarded upon completion of hidden puzzles. New puzzles, characters, a new hint feature, and the Professor's new pet Parrot and the Laytonmobile.
Professor Layton and the Lost Future will release in the UK and Europe on October 22. US residents will be able to get their investigator caps on it come September 20.
