Batman: Arkham City announced for fall 2011

batman_arkham_city_announced_for_fall_2011Warner Bros. Interactive has today announced the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, it's known as Batman: Arkham City and is being developed by Rocksteady Studios, the guys who made the first one.

 

It was back last year when the game was teased at the Video Game Awards in December with a trailer showing Arkham City. It also showed the Joker and Harley Quinn as the main protagonists, as well as Batman of course.

Other characters mentioned for the sequel are Mr. Freeze (No Arnie we're afraid), Talia al Ghul, and Two Face.

The first game was published by Square Enix, however, since Rocksteady Studios was purchased by Warner Bros. Interactive this year it'll now be published by them.

Not much info has been released on the title to date, we'll keep you covered as we learn more.
