Crysis 2 has been delayed into next year says EA

crysis_2_has_been_delayed_into_next_year_says_eaThe video game publisher giant, Electronic Arts, confirmed the delay of upcoming first-person shooter Crysis 2 during its recent financial report. No exact release date has been given other than Q4 FY 2011.

 

Electronic Arts released the company's financial report which announced the delay, they confirmed that Need For Speed: Shift 2 is in development which is down for a similar release period.

The new shooter was due for a release this holiday season and even had its release date brought forward before E3.

No word on the new release date yet other than Q4 FY 2011, it is due to be shown at GamesCom this month, whether we'll hear a new date there is questionable.

Crysis 2 is due on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 and will also support 3D.
