Electronic Arts has announced that Medal of Honor Limited Edition buyers won't just get a few extra weapons to blast their enemies with, oh no, you'll also get yourself a Battlefield 3 beta code.
The code won't come in the box however, according to the press release, instead you'll be invited to participate in the Battlefield 3 beta within 12 months of the launch of Medal of Honor.
The beta will only be available for a limited time and the offer expires upon the close of the Battlefield 3 beta events. Also to note is that Xbox 360 owners will need to be Gold subscribers to access the beta.
Medal of Honor Limited Edition also features special content out-of-the-box including the MP-7, a weapon utilized by real-world Tier 1 Operators in the field. With its light weight, high rate of fire as well as its ability to penetrate body armor, the MP-7 handles like a pistol yet allows targets to be engaged like a rifle.
The Limited Edition also includes two powerful shotguns with custom slugs and some special camouflage.
If you purchase the PS3 Limited Edition then you'll also get the classic Medal of Honor Frontline game which has been remastered in HD. Quite an incentive.
Medal of Honor launches on PC, 360, and PS3 on October 12 in North America and October 15 in Europe.
