TACTICS OGRE, the classic strategy RPG title, is getting its own remake on the PlayStation Portable and this time it's officially coming to Europe. It's called TACTICS OGRE: Let Us Cling Together.
The remake for PlayStation Portable is being developed by some of the original members from the team who made the first game; Hiroshi Minagawa (Director), Akihiko Yoshida (Character Design), Yasumi Matsuno (Game Design), Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata (Composers).
It's being remade with brand new visuals and effects, a re-arranged soundtrack by the original composers, new chracter mechanics, and a new Wheel of Fortune system which adds further replay elements to the game.

London (22 July 2010) – Square Enix Limited, the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, today announces the forthcoming release of TACTICS OGRE™: Let Us Cling Together™, a PSP® (PlayStation Portable) reinvention of the Strategy RPG. TACTICS OGRE is one of the most beloved Strategy RPG titles of all time, with the game being the only one to place in the Japanese gaming magazine Weekly Famitsu's "Top 20 games voted by readers" for 14 years running. Sadly, the original version of the game was never officially published in Europe, however, that is about to be rectified in spectacular fashion.
Having also worked on such hit titles as FINAL FANTASY TACTICS®, VAGRANT STORY™ and FINAL FANTASY® XII, key members of the original TACTICS OGRE development team have reformed to deliver the ultimate version of this definitive Strategy RPG experience.
