THQ's games vice president Danny Bilson has confirmed that Metro 2034, the sequel to horror-shooter 2033, is currently in development for multiple platforms along with 3D support.
Metro 2033 was released on both the PC and Xbox 360 but never saw a PlayStation 3 release. THQ haven't commented on the platforms the new game will be released on but with 3D support and Sony's big push for 3D gaming, it seems pretty likely to be a match made in heaven.
However, Metro 2033 was available in 3D on the PC if you had the hardware to run it.
Time will tell.
