Remember the PlayStation Plus service announced at E3 this year? Given it was only a few weeks back we would be surprised if you didn't, anyway, Sony have released firmware 3.40 for the PS3 and gone live with PlayStation Plus.
The new firmware for the PlayStation 3 comes equipped with a networked photo gallery, a new store rating system, video editing, and a new uploading feature, oh, and some other more secret additions which Sony never ever reveal, such as Move support.
The store has also been updated with PlayStation Plus subscription plans for users wanting to sign up. You'll be looking at a £39.99 price tag for a years subscription but you'll be getting a load of free stuff such as the full LittleBigPlanet game and a shiny plus icon next to your name in the friends list.
