Danny Bilson, VP of THQ publishing has announced today that the upcoming Red Faction: Armageddon game will get its very own prequel before it releases in March next year.
The prequel will delve into the events prior to Armageddon and give players a taster of what to expect come the full release in March 2011.
THQ are also going to be taking this strategy forward into future IPs to help boost sales before a games full release, this could possible apply to the new Saints Row.
Armageddon is due on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in March 2011.
