Ubisoft has revealed during its E3 press conference the reboot we've all been waiting for. Driver is making its return, and the new game which is due this holiday season will be known as Driver: San Francisco.
Driver: San Francisco will take place months after the end of Driver 3 where Tanner survives, yet so does Jericho.
One of the main features behind the reboot is what the developers are calling "Shift", it basically allows you to shift between cars instead of having to get out and get back in.
Other features include fully licensed cars for the first time in a Driver game, and multiplayer as well, but the multiplayer details are still under wraps.
It's due this holiday season and will be available on PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. There's also a Wii version in development.
