Square Enix have today sent out a press release announcing their newest game on the Nintendo DS platform. The game, Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light is due for release in the west sometime this fall.
The game which has already seen release in Japan under the name of The Four Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden sees the main hero, Brandt, trying to save the princess who's been taken by the Witch of the North.
It's being directed by Akihiko Yoshida which Final Fantasy fans may remember that he also did Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy XIII.
Players will also be able to buddy up via DS Wireless Play to take on a number of dungeons together.
