Bungie's gone ahead and confirmed the release date for the next game in the Halo franchise over on the Associated Press, Halo: Reach. Fans will be able to get their hands on the new jetpack jumping Halo game in September.
Over 2.7 million people played the Halo: Reach beta according to the report and over 16 million hours and more than 1.1 billion kills were accumulated over the 18 day beta.
Bungie says that more people logged onto the Halo: Reach beta in one day than over the whole course of the Halo 3 beta.
Set your calenders for September 14 then, unless you're in Japan that is, if so you'll have to wait a day longer.
