During Ubisoft's financial call to investors it has announced that its new Tom Clancy game, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will no longer be coming this year, instead it's delayed into 2011.
Ubisoft didn't say a specific date of when the title would become available it can be expected sometime between January and March.
During the financial call Ubisoft explained the reasoning behind the delay and that it was down to a "competitive environment", which to our ears sounds like it doesn't want to go against any of the other big titles this Christmas, such as the new Medal of Honor, and Call of Duty: Black Ops.
The game will still be shown at E3 however, so we should see some gameplay footage come out of the event next month.
