According to a recently applied trademark, Capcom is attempting to trademark the name Mega Man Universe in the US. Could this be a new game in the long line of Mega Man games?
There's no specific information on what exactly Mega Man Universe is, or, could be, however the word Universe does sound a lot like an online multiplayer game, or a portal. Perhaps this could be Mega Man meets MMORPG? Doubtful, but who knows, well, Capcom certainly do and they're keeping rather quite about it.
It isn't unusual for companies to trademark various names to protect their properties, so don't get your hopes up.
