Last year during the Tokyo Game Show Sony announced it was bringing Home like features in the form of Social Networking to the PlayStation Portable, now it seems, they are not.
The official Room site confirmed the cancellation (if you can read Japanese), no reason has been given however and the service was already under scrutiny in a closed beta.
The only information it mentions is that closed beta testers opinions will be put to use in future community services.
