Previously known as Project Needlemouse, SEGA have today confirmed the title to be Sonic The Hedgehog 4, the true successor to the series in over 15 years. The game will be in 2D and come in the form of episodes.
The game will be digitally released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii sometime this year we hope (but not confirmed).
